Scrappers Delights Thrifty Thursday

Hi all,

Hope you all had a fab Christmas.
Happy New year to you all.

Well here is my first card of 2017.
It's using Wood Elfing and Lily pad prop.
You can find them both here.

Wood Elfing comes with lots of accessories so can be used for
all different occasions.

Lily pad is great for making a scene with.

So here is my card using both images.
I kept it quite simple and stuck it straight onto white card so the images
would stand out.

I hope you like the card.
I had a lot of fun making it.

Scrapper's Delights Thrifty Thursday

Hi all,

Today is another Thrifty Thursday at Scrapper's Delights.
Today the images available for $1 each are perfect for Christmas Cards.
You could also use them for a birthday card too.

I decided to colour my image with Christmas in mind.
The colours aren't traditional for this image but I think they work.

Hope you like today's card.
I will be posting all of the images I've coloured for the daily marker challenge soon too.

Scrapper's Delights Thrifty Thursday

Hi all,

Today is another Thrifty Thursday from Scrapper's Delights.

There's a choice of 4 images that you can see below.

You can find them here.

On to my card. This image can be used for any occasion.
I decide to make it a Christmas image.

I made the background paper by stamping some snowflakes in white
and then using my distress inks.
She's a fab image to play with

Scrappers Delight

Hi all,

Today it's Thrifty Thursday over at Scrappers Delights.

This time it's the fairies on offer.
You can find them here

I used the Luna Fairy.
I chose her because I thought I could put her trying to catch lots of things.

I chose to make her into a Christmas card
with her trying to catch the snowflakes.

Here's my card

I hope you like her. I will be making some other cards with her
as I have another idea with a moon.

Hi all,

I am pleased to say I am part of the Scrappers Delights Design Team.

I love their Digi's as they can be used for all different types of projects.

Today I have something exciting to share as it's Thrifty Thursday.
This is where you can get some selected Digi's for only $1 each.

The image I used on my card is Pixie Fawn
(the one on the right)

The other two Pixes can be found

Here is my card

Isn't this a fun card.

The next Thrifty Thursday is in a fortnight and the images for that one are
gorgeous. I'm very excited about the next one.

My Sweet Petunia

Morning all,

On Tuesday 23rd of August I was lucky enough to take a class with
Iliana from My Sweet Petunia who designed the Misti

I'm on the left, Iliana in the middle and my good friend Kay on the right.

We were there for the day and made 6 cards using the Misti.
I've had my Misti for a while and love it.
Here are the cards we made.

The first card we made used a stamp from The Ton.
The Misti is great for using background stamps.

The next card used another background stamp by Hero Arts and ombré inks.
This is great for a quick and easy card.

The next card used another background stamp by Hero Arts and Reindeer stamp and sentiment by Clearly Besotted. This is where the Misti is great for layering stamps.

The next two cards we made used Hero Arts layering stamps.
I chose the flamingo and seahorse to do.

The last card we made was another Christmas card
and the stamps we used were by Clearly Besotted.
I used my copics to colour the images.

Well I thoroughly enjoyed my day and Illiana was a delight.
Hope you like the cards we made.

Camp Create Bonfire - make a scene

Hi all,
Today I'm sharing with you a scene I've made today.
I've had this set a while. I bought it because it reminds me of my daughter who loves to get dirty and climb trees.
This is the first time I've used the Molotov masking fluid.
I will use it again now I know the best way to use it.
Here's my card

I used distress inks for the sky and grass and copics for the rest.
It took a long time to do, but I will do it again.
My friends are requesting I do a video but I'm still unsure about that at the moment.

This means I have earnt the bonfire badge from MFTs Camp Create.

I hope you like the card.

10 card challenge

This morning my friend challenged me to make 10 cards using a limited amount of supples.
I chose to do a birthday theme and she chose Christmas.

I used Die Cuts With a View papers (10 sheets 8x8) and MFT Blueprint 18.
I also used Happy Birthday die from Clearly Besotted, happy birthday sentiment from darkroom door and another happy birthday sentiment from CC designs by Amy R.
I did use silver embossing powder, Lawn Fawn dye ink and sequins/gems.

Here are the papers and die set I used

The papers are glittery so were fun to use.
I cut the elements of the dies out using all of the papers which meant I just then needed to assemble and add sentiments.

Here are my 10 cards :

This is what I had left

It does mean I can make some more cards out of what remains.
I really enjoyed this challenge.
It's surprising what ideas you can come up with.
I made these in 2 and half hours. Not a bad mornings work.

I hope this inspires you to have a go at this type of challenge.
My friend used a stamp set and matting dies rather than the blueprint dies and just sentiment stamps like me.

I will be doing this again at some point.
I think I will use another Blueprint set.

Camp Create Stunning Shadow Stamping

Well today's technique was lots of fun.

Shadow stamping is something I hadn't tried before,
I will be using this technique with some other stamps I have too.
(I do now need to purchase the stamp set used in the video lol)

My card could also be used for Monochromatic but it wasn't intentional when I started making the card lol.

I don't have a lot of the solid images by MFT so this was tricky to start with (I need to purchase some) .
I then remembered I had the banners and I knew I could use this technique.

So here is my card

I used the banner stamps and Blueprints 26

Here's the badge

I have achieved all of the badges.
I do have the bonfire badge to earn but I'll make that card tomorrow.

Hope you've enjoyed these posts.
