My Son's Birthday

Morning all,
Today is my Son's birthday, so I thought I'd share with you the card I made for him. He is Where's Wally mad. We have all of the books, mugs, calendar and I have a duvet cover for him too. He loves him, which meant I thought I'd make him a card with Wally on it.

I copied some pages from his book to have as backgrounds and some wally's.

Here's the finished card. I just mat and layered the background and Wally. I didn't want to add anything else as I know my son will be looking for Wally, so I made sure I hadn't covered him up.

I hope you like the card. Thanks to Sheila for having my today at She's a Sassy Lady.

Have a wonderful Christmas and I'll see you in the New Year.

Let me tell you about my project. I needed to make a lot of cards quickly. So I stamped 6 images to a A4 size piece of card. I did this on 7 pieces of card. I then coloured all the orange on all sheets and then the next colour etc. Like a production line.

Here's a picture showing what I mean.

Once coloured I then added some stickles to the heart, star and pom pom on the hat.

I cut the stamped images out once dried 3.5 inches square. I then cut backing paper at 4 inches square.

I then mat and layed them. I made quite a few cards and they didn't take long. I only used 4 sheets of 12 x 12 paper.I could cut 9 backing pieces from each sheet. It was also a good way of using up xmas papers that I've had for a while.

I hope you enjoy the rest of the bloghop.

Altered box

Hi all ,
Today I'm a guest at The Bugbytes. Thank you Pam for having me today. I thought I'd share with you a box I'm altering at the moment. I received some crafty goodies in a box that holds 12 inch papers. It's a pizza style box.

First I distress stained all around the edge of my box. Inside and out.

Here's a quick lokk at the inside of the box.

Here is a close up of the distress staining. I had to go in quite a bit as the 12 inch paper has quite a border around it once on.

I used Ella Blue papers. For the top, I punched around the edge of the paper with a Martha Stewart PATP. Then stuck it on with my atg.

Inside I just covered the inside top and bottom with card. I didn't do the dges on these as I wanted to cover as much of the bottom as I could.

Here's a close up of the front. I used K&Co rub ons and flowers.

This is a digi stamp by Saturated Canary. It's called Copica. I love it and Happiness for me is crafting so the two seemed to go together.

Hre's the finished front. I say finished but I need something in the middle and I can't put my finger on what it needs. If you have any suggestions please add it in the comment section. Any suggestions would be gratefully recceived.

Tomorrow I'm taking part in a bloghop. Please come and take a look at all of the creations we've all made.

Just Inspirational challenge 5

Hi all,

Here is my card for our 5th challenge. The inspirational photo is a card with the colours red and green. I chose this stamp as it reminded me off the snow last year and my children making snowmen. Our sponsor for this week is Stamp and Create. You can take a look at this weeks challenge here.
