Picked Sweet

Morning all,
I am a big fan of the stamp designer Elizabeth Bell. I first saw her designs at Sugar Nellie. My favourite is Daisy. When I saw her latest release from Whimsy Stamps I had to buy them as they are very much like daisy. This stamp I've used today is called Picked Sweet.

I chose greens, reds, violets and pinks to colour her in. The background paper is Up, Up and Away by first edition papers. I went for a spring like feel as it's glorious sunshine today in the U.K.
I'm still not a hundred percent on her hair. First time I've tried red, but I think it's alright. Hey I'm still learning.

Here are the copics I used. I thought this was easier than listing them all.
Well I hope you like my card today. Thanks Sheila for having my today at Shes a sassy lady.

Go Green

Hi all,
I'm finally recovered from three fully packed days at Pinkery on Exmoor. Lots of fun activities. I may post some photos at a later date.

Over at The Crazy Challenge we have a Go Green challenge starting. I chose to use green papers, cards and pens.

Here is the close up of the image. She's rather sweet. Here are the copic I used : Hair E59, E29, E57. Clothes YG95, YG17, G16, G82. Eyes Boo. Skin E00, E11, E21.
Luckily I had some green flowers. However the rose was white. I used my YG95 copic sketch pen to colour it in. I think it looks rather good as the mulberry paper is different thicknesses so gives it it's shading.
Come and join iin our challenge

Blog book

Morning all,
Today I thought I'd share with you a blog book I made. This is for me to keep track of my posts what future ideas I have. Sorry about this picture it's a bit blurry. I didn't realise until I uploaded it and had already covered it. This is a book that has lots of clear pockets inside.

Here is the front covered. The front measured 9 inches by 12 inches. I also printed off my header from my blog. This is a work in progress. Also because the outside of the book is a plastic. If I decide I want to change the covers I can as they're quite easy to take off again. I thought about putting flowers on etc but thought they may get caught in my bag.
I left the back just plain.
Now for the inside pages. I would love to say I designed them but I didn't. Becky from Infarrantly creative designed them. They are a free download. There are two different styles. But I just used the plain ones.

The first page is a space to put down your blog ideas. For me and the design teams I'm on, these are ideal to remind me of theme's and which stamp to use etc.

This page is a blank calendar page. I put on the dt's I'm on and any other events coming up. You can see we have Mothering Sunday coming in a week. In my book I put a calendar page then 4 of the blog pages in back to back. There's room to put a year's worth in. I still have space left over at the back of the book too. This is a work in progress and I will probably change it around a bit once I've got used to what I want etc.

Hopefully this will inspire you to make one of your own. Thanks Pam for having my today at The Bugbytes.

Today over at The Crazy Challenge we have a steampunk theme. The images are from Delicious Doodles.
Here is my card. The fairy actually faces the other way but I flipped her in word as I wanted her facing the other way. The corners are from Delicious Doodles too. I went over them with a sukura pen. Here are the copics I used. Dress E37, E09. Wings C1. Skin E00, E11, E21, E31, R20. Hair YR20, YR21, E53.

I hope you like this card. I will be posting on Tuesday some christmas cards I've made. It's a challenge I'm in, to make a christmas card a week, so we have cards ready instead of rushing at christmas. I'll also be posting a mini I've made at some point this week.
