Books and fairies

Hi all,

Well I hope you've had a fab few days.
I'm excited to show you my latest creation.

Also as a FYI Kathy Rac is hosting another 30 day colouring challenge
starting on March 1st.
I took part last year but posted a lot on Instagram
So I hope to do lots of colouring again and will try and post on here
as well as Instagram.

On to my card.
Today I used digis from Scrappers Delights one of the digis to make a book.
This book digi can be used as the main focus on a card which you can add
images to or you can make your own background paper too.

I decided to use sepia colours
Copic colours E31, 50, 51

Here's my card

I really enjoyed making this card.

I hope you pop back again soon

Giraffe's and Foxes

Hi all,

Well I'm glad to see sunshine and blue sky today rather than rain and wind.
Hopefully you're all experiencing the sunshine too.

Today I'm been playing around with a giraffe digi and a fox digi.
I couldn't resist the fox as my friends surname is Fox so I know which image I'll be using for her birthday.

So first here is my giraffe card I made.

For the Giraffe I used the following copic colours
E08, 53, 21

I think this image is gorgeous and as a bonus it also comes with a present and a sentiment that you can add to the image.
I'm thinking this would be perfect for any new baby cards that will be needed.
Or added to a scrapbook as a accent.

Now onto the fox.
I love colouring foxes as I love the rich red that they are.
Although you could colour them lots of different colours too but I like to stick to the traditional red/ brown combo.

So here it is

Again I used copics to colour this image.
the colours I used are
For the fox fur E08, 09, 19
The bow R81, 83, 85
The heart R29, 27, 24

You can find both of these new images here at Scrappers Delights.

I hope you like the cards I've shared with you today.

Have a great day everyone.
I hope you pop back soon to see my other

Scrappers Delights Thrifty Thursday

Hi all,

Hope you all had a fab Christmas.
Happy New year to you all.

Well here is my first card of 2017.
It's using Wood Elfing and Lily pad prop.
You can find them both here.

Wood Elfing comes with lots of accessories so can be used for
all different occasions.

Lily pad is great for making a scene with.

So here is my card using both images.
I kept it quite simple and stuck it straight onto white card so the images
would stand out.

I hope you like the card.
I had a lot of fun making it.

Scrapper's Delights Thrifty Thursday

Hi all,

Today is another Thrifty Thursday at Scrapper's Delights.
Today the images available for $1 each are perfect for Christmas Cards.
You could also use them for a birthday card too.

I decided to colour my image with Christmas in mind.
The colours aren't traditional for this image but I think they work.

Hope you like today's card.
I will be posting all of the images I've coloured for the daily marker challenge soon too.

Scrapper's Delights Thrifty Thursday

Hi all,

Today is another Thrifty Thursday from Scrapper's Delights.

There's a choice of 4 images that you can see below.

You can find them here.

On to my card. This image can be used for any occasion.
I decide to make it a Christmas image.

I made the background paper by stamping some snowflakes in white
and then using my distress inks.
She's a fab image to play with

Scrappers Delight

Hi all,

Today it's Thrifty Thursday over at Scrappers Delights.

This time it's the fairies on offer.
You can find them here

I used the Luna Fairy.
I chose her because I thought I could put her trying to catch lots of things.

I chose to make her into a Christmas card
with her trying to catch the snowflakes.

Here's my card

I hope you like her. I will be making some other cards with her
as I have another idea with a moon.

My Sweet Petunia

Morning all,

On Tuesday 23rd of August I was lucky enough to take a class with
Iliana from My Sweet Petunia who designed the Misti

I'm on the left, Iliana in the middle and my good friend Kay on the right.

We were there for the day and made 6 cards using the Misti.
I've had my Misti for a while and love it.
Here are the cards we made.

The first card we made used a stamp from The Ton.
The Misti is great for using background stamps.

The next card used another background stamp by Hero Arts and ombré inks.
This is great for a quick and easy card.

The next card used another background stamp by Hero Arts and Reindeer stamp and sentiment by Clearly Besotted. This is where the Misti is great for layering stamps.

The next two cards we made used Hero Arts layering stamps.
I chose the flamingo and seahorse to do.

The last card we made was another Christmas card
and the stamps we used were by Clearly Besotted.
I used my copics to colour the images.

Well I thoroughly enjoyed my day and Illiana was a delight.
Hope you like the cards we made.
